Alyssa Crawford

I am a hardworking and driven certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree in Nursing, which I completed in May of 2020. My nursing experience was largely in the emergency department with some medical-surgical experience. My experience as a nurse practitioner includes family care across the lifespan in a rural clinic setting. I also have experience in health risk assessments and chronic care management, as well as routine follow-up visits and urgent care visits, using telemedicine modalities. I am comfortable and proficient in managing chronic illness such as hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes, to name a few. I feel that many health conditions can be managed with a healthy lifestyle including dietary management and physical activity, and I feel strongly in educating my patients on how to properly manage their conditions in order to empower them. I am passionate about helping others live their most fulfilling, healthy lives.
