About Laura Bush
I am a compassionate, ethical, and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with a focus on internal medicine. My focus is treating the whole person and not the disease. I have over 25 years of experience in healthcare first working as an ICU nurse for 14 years in multiple specialties including the cardiovascular ICU, trauma, medical surgical and stem cell transplant ICUs. I also was a transplant coordinator for the renal transplant program at Stanford University.
I enjoy the opportunity to work with patients struggling with diabetes management, hypertension and obesity. I also work with patients who have substance use disorders. I have extensive experience in treating and curing Hepatitis C. I also enjoy women’s health.
My other loves include painting, hiking with my fur babies and running. I enjoy learning something new each day from my patients and I try to read something new to broaden my perspective on life. My vocation is helping others. This is my passion and calling in this life!
