
About Ljeoma Okoro
Ijeoma Okoro received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012. She worked as an ER nurse for several years before returning to Cizik School of Nursing-UTHealth Houston to earn her Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner and has continued practicing in the Urgent care and Occupational Health settings. She is board certified and can provide quality care to patients ranging in age from 6 months to the elderly. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing and has discovered that incorporating mindfulness into treatment methods for all age groups is a path toward greater health. Her experiences in health promotion, sustainable health habits, and mindfulness techniques have helped her patients improve their quality of life. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching soccer, strength training, and traveling and intentionally works to positively influence those around her. MSN, FNP-BC, APRN
