About Maresha Harris

Maresah Harris is a board-certified nurse practitioner licensed in Texas. Maresah has been in the healthcare field since graduating from high school in 2001. She started her career as a surgical technician for the United States Army and slowly worked her way up the ladder. Her nursing career began as an LVN in 2005. Shortly after becoming an LVN, she attended an LVN-RN mobility program at San Antonio College, obtaining her Associate of Science in Nursing in 2008. Maresah worked as a nurse on the spinal cord injury unit at the VA hospital in San Antonio, Texas while she pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of the Incarnate Word. In 2014, she moved to Houston after she completed her BSN and began her career as a critical care nurse in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann hospital. Maresah worked the front lines in several different intensive care units during the world pandemic while she attended Grand Canyon University to complete her Master of Science in Nursing. She graduated from GCU’s Master of Science in Nursing with a subspecialty in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care in 2022. Maresah is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, and a member of the Elite Nurse Practitioner. Maresah and her 2 kids reside in Houston, Texas. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling the world. Diseases I like to see are cardiovascular, neurological, and respiratory. I also enjoy women’s health as well.
